Policy Communication and Media Influence on Public Awareness, Perceptions, and Compliance with Noise Pollution Regulations in Lagos, Nigeria

Abstract

The work attempted to establish the link between poor media coverage of noise pollution policies in Lagos State and the seemingly weak behavioral responses among residents. Also, this research has provided a well-documented metropolitan dataset for Lagos in terms of noise pollution and effectiveness of the policies in the State.
