Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished and is not under review or for publication by another journal. Otherwise, this must be justified in "Comments to the Editor".
  • The submission must follow the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in "Instructions for Authors", found in the section "About the Journal".
  • In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section, the instructions available under "Securing the Blind Peer Review" were followed.

Author Guidelines

The submitted papers must observe the following information:

- Title words in english and in the article’s publishing language. Title should be concise and informative. Any information regarding the author(s) (names, emails, and affiliations) must be obliterated from the entire paper (including footnotes), being exclusively inserted when filling the submission platform, in order to assure the purposes of the double-blind review process.

- Abstract of no more than 150 words (note: if your text is written in a language other than English, please submit the abstract and the keywords both in english and in the paper's original language).

- Keywords - 3 to 6 keywords (note: if your text is written in a language other than English, please submit the keywords both in english and in the paper's original language).

- Font - single-space; 12-point Times / Times New Roman font; bold and italics rather than underlining (except for URL addresses).

- Text / type of file - the papers must be saved and sent in an editable format. Formats such as .doc, .docx, .rtf (Microsoft Office), .odt (OpenOffice) and .pages (Apple Inc.) will be accepted. We will not accept .pdf files.

- Tables / Graphics - if possible, convert to image and submit separately from the paper, saved in formats such as .tiff, .jpeg or .png. The files must be numbered and that number must then be inserted in their intended place in the text, along with its caption.

- Pictures / Videos / Audios - these files must NOT be inserted in the text; instead, they must be submitted separately, in the appropriate formats (regarding images, we recommend .tiff, .jpeg or .png) and with good printing definition, since that will be the journal's ultimate purpose. The files must be numbered and that number must then be inserted in their intended place in the text, along with its caption.

- Globally, both text and attachments must not overcome 2MB.

- Style and Bibliography Standards - please use the APA style guide.

- URL - all URL addresses in the text and bibliography / references must be active and ready to click, redirecting to the referenced website.

- Lenght of the papers - 30 pages maximum (bibliography / references not included).

- Permits - Authors are required to obtain permissions to reproduce previously copyrighted materials from other sources in both print and electronic form.

- The published papers will be identified with submission and acceptance dates, as well as their respective DOI. The journal's editions will be archived accordingly with their publication year.
