Contemporary image: processual, noisy and hybrid
Keywords:
image, hybridism, noise, aestheticAbstract
Contemporary photography has hybrid methods and is aesthetically noisy. Due to analog and digital medium exploration against “apparatus program” (Flusser, 2011), many artists contribute to confirm the processual vertent of image that pressures important paradigms of photography, as instantaneous, indexability, trusting error and noise as topics to the develop an aesthetics that values the glitch, the time duration, and traces of materiality from used technologies.
