The symbolic primitivism in the anthropophagic proposal of Oswald de Andrade

This paper aims an approach to the native primitivism like the principle and founda on of the aesthetic and philosophical arguments of the “Oswald de Andrade antropophagy”. We note the antropophagic proposal like an important review of the culture and brazilian na onal identity in allowing us to think the role that assumes the brazilian intellectual as a symbolic mediator who is able to compose a dialogical and dialectical connection between popular culture and national culture promoting a symbolic transformation of the reality.
