A Tela virou Palco: O uso do ambiente do cinema como arena para a performance musical
Abstract
O artigo tem por objetivo analisar como o ambiente do cinema tem sido reapropriado para a transmissão de apresentações musicais a fim de discutir suas consequências para o mercado da música no Brasil. A hipótese central desse trabalho é que, diante do atual cenário em que o show tende a ser a mediação mais valorizada da experiência musical, as salas de cinema podem emergir como um circuito alternativo para fomentar a realização de shows com a formação de um público consumidor com performance e padrões de sociabilidade específicos. Assim, para ilustrar o debate, será analisado o case referente à transmissão ao vivo do show comemorativo de 15 anos da banda carioca “Los Hermanos”, realizada em 2012, em cinemas de 21 cidades brasileiras.
