O pensamento cinematográfico de Patricio Guzmán: átomos de memória
Abstract
This article aims to analyze the cinematographic thought of the documentary filmmaker Patricio Guzmán, based on his book Filmar lo que no se ve, first published in Spanish in 2013 and translated into Portuguese in 2017. I will focus specifically on the concepts of invisibility, dramatic atom, as well as on the relationship between reportage, documentary, and essay.
