O que é o documentário para documentaristas? – Chub, Flaherty, Grierson e Vertov

Abstract

A proposta do artigo é sistematizar e analisar proposições conceituais de cineastas acerca do conceito de cinema documentário. A e os cineastas acionados são: Esfir Chub, Robert Flaherty, John Grierson e Dziga Vertov. A base teórico-metodológica está principalmente relacionada à abordagem da Teoria de Cineastas e os resultados indicam noções para o conceito de documentário baseadas no encontro direto com o mundo vivido e em pressupostos oposicionistas em relação à ficção e ao jornalismo.
