Walter Benjamin e a Flor Azul da A-Encenação Documentária
Abstract
The mise-en-scène, or staging, of documentary film varies in the historical modes of constructed staging, direct staging and a-staging. The concepts of aura, optical unconscious, monad and dialectical image, as discussed by Walter Benjamin in several essays, will serve to analyze the type of documentary staging that we define as a-staging. When it opens in the fissure of the encounter in the shot, the a-staging shifts the agency to an expanded cosmos, being that which passes through us, life, in the reflexive plane of the camera-machine adhering to immanence as a screen.
Keywords: a-staging; documentary; Walter Benjamin; aura; optical unconscious, monad, dialectical image.
