Milagre das flores: a interseção entre vanguarda e documentário no Kulturfilm
Abstract
This article investigates the emergence of Kulturfilm and its relevance in the transformation of cinema in the 1920s. Focusing on the analysis of the feature film Milagre das flores (1926), directed by Max Reichmann, the study highlights the importance of cinematographic techniques used to capture the life cycles of plants. Additionally, it examines how the film contributes on the dissolution of boundaries between documentary cinema and the artistic avant-garde, offering new insights into art and science.
