Abstract

What do we intend to bring to Eduardo Coutinho's work an approach that defines itself as feminine? The demand is for a feminist look at the filmmaker's method, and his sensitive listening to women's orality, which we associate with the ethics of care. Through the performative expression of singular experiences, they evoke and intend issues relating to colonial and capitalist forms of oppression that sustain patriarchy's historical control over women
